World Book Day 2022

Ms. Connaughton's Junior Infants celebrated World Book Day over two days. On Thursday last, they took a trip to Longford Library and listened to some wonderful stories read by Maggie. Afterwards they walked to the mall and enjoyed a picnic and some time in the playground with their friends from Room 1. On Friday the children dressed up as their favourite characters and also brought in their favourite book. They shared their books with their friends and Ms. Connaughton has also been reading their books to the class. There was great excitement over the two days.
