Sports Day 2021

This year we decided to have a Sports Day for the Junior Classes and a Sports Day for the Senior Classes.

Every class had great fun competing in sprints, hurdling, relay races, potato and spoon, wheelbarrow races and the three-legged races.

Tim from Longford Tennis Club gave tennis lessons to all classes from Junior Infants to 2nd Class.

There were water-based team games in the evening time, stations set up by the 6th class boys and girls.

We had mini-tournaments for Gaelic, Soccer, Uni-Hock and Dodgeball.

The Ice-cream van arrived to treat everyone in the school community.

We are looking forward to next year's Sports Day already.
