Sporting and Musical Achievements outside of school

Today we acknowledged the sporting and musical achievements of some of our students.  First of all we would like to congratulate our U10 Boys and Girls Community Games Indoor Soccer teams who recently won gold in the finals held in Longford.  Our U13 Girls Indoor Soccer team were also victorious in their final. All three teams will go forward this week to represent our parish in Leinster.  Congratulations to our second  U10 team who performed excellently in the tournament and are all underage to play again next year.    Over last Friday, Saturday and Sunday we had a fantastic representation of children from our school taking part in the Longford County Fleadh finals in competitions such as tin whistle, singing, fiddle, accordian and sean nós dancing.   We are always very proud to hear of our students' achievements outside of school and we looking forward to hearing lots more in the next few weeks.
