Congratulations to Ellen Reilly in Second Class who was the Junior Category winner from County Longford in this years 'Someone Like Me' Art Competition. The competition is run by the National Disability Authority.
Her lovely picture represented Longford in the All Ireland final which took place on Thursday 28th January 2021.
This fantastic competition aims to promote disability awareness among
primary school children and give them a greater understanding of what unites children of differing abilities. 'Someone Like Me' enables children to learn about and discuss these topics and creatively express what they’ve learned through art.
Just before the Easter holidays, Ellen received her prize in the post. Mr. Mollaghan presented her with a €100 All for One voucher for herself and one for our school! She also got a framed certificate.
