Over the course of September and October, the focus during PE has been running and striking with an implement. Senior Infants have worked very well on the fundamentals of striking. They've played conditioned games using bean bags and progressing to tennis balls where they worked on control, dribbling and most importantly the safety of striking (2 hands on the stick and not striking above hip height).
Towards the end of this term, the children finally got their chance to show off their skills when they played a few mini games.
