Our school has been working towards achieving the Pieta Amber Flag this year. The aim of the Amber Flag is to create a healthy and inclusive environment that supports mental well-being.
Together we can make a happier, healthier Ireland and eradicate the stigma associated with mental health issues.
With this in mind the Amber Flag Committee today launched its ‘Mental Health Awareness Day’ which will run on Friday the 23rd of April. This will be a non-uniform day and all children can wear bright colours to school. All we ask is that everyone makes a small donation of €1 as a fundraiser for Pieta House.
