Longford Primary Schools Cross Country Races

The 2023 Co. Longford Primary Schools Cross Country Championships Races were held on Sunday at Moyne Community School on a sunny autumn day. Ground conditions underfoot were very soft and that made the event even more enjoyable!

Our school had 40 competers on the day. Everyone put in a fantastic effort! Well done to everyone, especially the 3rd class children who competed for the first time.

Congratulations to Ella Finnegan in 5th Class who qualified for the Connacht Primary Schools Cross Country Championships on Wednesday 11 October in Tuam. We wish her the best of luck going forward!
