Killoe in the County Finals

Killoe in the County Final:

Our local GAA Club Killoe reached the Senior County Championship Final as well as the Junior Championship Final in September/October 2019. There was great excitement in our school as Mr. Mulligan, Mr. Mimnagh and Mr. Toher were involved with the teams. Mr. Mulligan is from Longford Slashers and there was good fun in the lead up to the final against Mr. Mimnagh and Mr. Toher. We painted, sang songs and decorated our school with lots of white and green. The local paper: The Longford Leader called to visit us and we had our Jersey Day that day which we were able to wear our Killoe Jerseys. Thankfully Killoe won the final against a gracious Longford Slashers team. Well done to Mr. Mulligan who did very well. The Sean Connolly Cup visited the school along with members of the winning Killoe team. Let’s hope this will happen again very soon. Killoe Abú.
