Exploration Dome

As part of Science Week we had a visit from the Exploration Dome though Midland Science.

Exploration Dome is a Digital Mobile Planetarium that runs Astronomy shows and Full dome films (360 degree) for all ages. The Mobile Planetarium gives children a chance to interact with the planets and stars in our Universe.

Pupils from 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th were very lucky to go from the classroom to outer space and deep into the ocean. 2^nd Class looked at biodiversity and the impact it has on the oceans. The senior classes went to outer space to see the planets close up. The ended up deep in the Solar System! There was laughter and plenty of ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ along the way, but most importantly learning!
