I hope everyone is keeping safe & well. This is a work plan from Monday 11^th – Friday 15^th of January. Don’t worry if you are unable to do some of it.  I will be engaging with all of you on Seesaw. Everyone should know their own work routine.

Monday- Friday

Handwriting book – complete half a page each day. Take your time & do it neatly.

Maths /Tables

Tables Champion- next unit Day 1 – 4

Tables 3^rd class 11 Multiplication

Tables 4^th class 11 Multiplication & Division ( try and do 10 minutes per day on Www.topmarks/hitthebutton.com )

Mental Maths – Week 16 - do one column each day and complete the Friday test and problems.

Spellings for me –  unit (9) in activity book ( if you aren’t up to unit 9 just do your own next unit)

Additional work if you have time - Write a story about your Christmas Holidays & A story with a title of your choice.

Exploring Geography & Science unit 11 Denmark – Land of the Vikings ( Read & answer questions 1-5 Fact finding in your Geography copy)

Science- Unit 10 Animal life (Revision)- Read & if possible design and make A Safari Park Animal Home page 58 ( Just design if you haven’t old materials to make one)

Exploring History unit 10 Life in Viking Ireland – Read and answers questions 1-5 Fact Finding in your History copy.

Draw a Winter picture & colour it.

Construction- choose any of these activities using recycled materials :

1. Draw / Construct a Viking home.
2. Build a Lego model that you would associate with Denmark.
3. Construct an animal home.

Homeschooling Hub will be on RTÉ at 10a.m each day.

Please upload some of your work each day on Seesaw. Keep it neat and don’t forget the cursive writing where possible.
